Ms. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio Northern University with a minor in Mathematics and a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School. At WSU Law School, Smith served as an officer of the Wayne Intellectual Property Student Association and earned the Silver Key award for academic achievement.
Ms. Smith is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She is also a member of the Women’s Lawyers Association of Michigan and Oakland County Bar Association.
Ms. Smith was born in Shelby, Ohio. She currently resides in Warren, Michigan.
