Rachael A. Smith joins Rader, Fishman & Grauer as Associate in Bloomfield Hills Offfice

Bloomfield Hills Mich.,  December 6, 2010 – Rachael A. Smith joined the Bloomfield Hills office of Rader, Fishman & Grauer PLLC, a leading national intellectual property law firm, as an Associate Attorney.  Rader, Fishman & Grauer develops strategies for maximizing the value of intellectual assets including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.  Clients range from multinational corporations to emerging enterprises.

Ms. Smith focuses primarily on preparing and prosecution patent applications. She also has experience in patent litigation and trademark prosecution.

Ms. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio Northern University with a minor in Mathematics and a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School.  At WSU Law School, Smith served as an officer of the Wayne Intellectual Property Student Association and earned the Silver Key award for academic achievement.

Ms. Smith is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.  She is also a member of the Women’s Lawyers Association of Michigan and Oakland County Bar Association.

Ms. Smith was born in Shelby, Ohio.  She currently resides in Warren, Michigan.
